Biography:

Wanda Maximoff, portrayed by Elizabeth Olsen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), is known as the Scarlet Witch. She made her first full appearance in the post-credits scene of *Captain America: The Winter Soldier* (2014).

Initially introduced as an antagonist working alongside Ultron in *Avengers: Age of Ultron* (2015), Wanda eventually defects and joins the Avengers. Her powers stem from experimentation with the Mind Stone, granting her abilities such as telekinesis, energy manipulation, and mind control.

Scarlet Witch plays a crucial role in *Avengers: Infinity War* (2018), tasked with protecting the Mind Stone embedded in Vision's head. She demonstrates her immense power by destroying the Mind Stone, an act that also destroys Vision, only for Thanos to reverse time and claim the stone. Wanda is subsequently erased from existence by Thanos' snap.
